NW Social Security Plan

Close actuarial balance means that the Social Security Trust Fund does not drop below a level that will fund costs for the next 10 years.  At the current payroll tax rate we will be out of close actuarial balance in 2019.  (Using numbers from the 2015 annual report) if we increase the tax rate by 0.2 percent each time the test fails, we will need to raise the rate to 16.2 percent (combined employee and employer contributions) by 2080.

At no point will the Trust Fund ratio drop below 1.

Arne this is great. Maybe be can swap some stuff. I spent yesterday working on importing and converting the 2015 Report into an Excel Workbook. Right now I have all the Figures converted to .pngs and displayed in groups on Worksheets and all the Tables extracted, cleaned up as to column width and word wrap and then also included in groups on Worksheets, and then imported the text and tables in other Worksheets with the text word wrapped. The ultimate idea is to have the Report as an easy quarry for extraction of Figures and Tables for web and blogging purposes.

If you don't mind I'll send you the file to see if you have any use for it or suggestions for me. BTW I am posting for a different Gmail than the one I use at AB.
